Our Story
At Business Performance Solutions, Inc. (aka, BPS) we have one simple goal:
To equip every one of our customers’ participants with the focus, framework, discipline and strategy to accomplish more and achieve better results through others.
For more than two decades, we’ve learned that a manager becomes a manager similar to the way a parent becomes a parent—one day they find out they are one! And then, suddenly, they realize they have gone from managing only 1 person (i.e., himself or herself) to managing an average of 5 to 15 more people. In other words, as a result of doing exceptional tactical work (only accountable for their own performance), they are promoted to work strategically through managing a group of others. Another way people become managers is that they’ve worked for their organizations the longest. Another is that they’re friends or family members of the boss. Whatever the reason and whatever the case, unless an employee who holds a leadership position is equipped with proper training that enables them to manage effectively, it is rare they are ever prepared to perform strategically and accomplish more by getting the very best results through those they work with, lead and influence.
Since our humble beginnings more than 20 years ago, we’ve served over 250 organizations that we would consider the “Who’s Who” in their field. We’ve graduated over 2500 leaders dedicated to improving professionally and personally. And we’ve been honored to their catalyst to close the gaps between current practice and best practice.
